Registered Massage Therapy is the assessment and manipulation of soft tissues such as muscles, tendons, ligaments and fascia to achieve a therapeutic outcome. Therapeutic outcomes can include pain reduction, increased mobility as well as an embodied sense of well-being and deep relaxation.

Massage therapy can help address physical pain and tension and has also been shown to help ease symptoms of anxiety, depression and mental stress.

Registered Massage Therapy includes multiple modalities such as Hot/Cold Stones, Thai Massage, Craniosacral Therapy, Myofascial Release, Diaphragmatic Breathing and more.

I use a variety of the above techniques in my treatments, tailored towards each client’s individual needs and goals.

This gentle, focused massage supports circulation, relaxation, and a deeper connection to the core of the body. Rooted in techniques informed by Arvigo® training and traditional abdominal massage practices, this treatment offers nurturing touch to a space that may hold tension, emotion, or energetic heaviness. Many clients seek this work for support with digestion, menstrual rhythm, or emotional grounding. It can be especially soothing during times of stress, transition, or when the body is calling for softness and care.

Craniosacral Therapy

Craniosacral Therapy (CST) is a gentle hands-on treatment that supports the body’s natural rhythms by working with the craniosacral flow of cerebrospinal fluid surrounding the brain and spinal cord.

CST relieves tension in the Central Nervous System where the brain, spine, and nerves live and function. This decrease in tension promotes a deep sense of relaxation, making it an excellent treatment to encourage emotional well-being.

In addition to this deep relaxation of the nervous system, CST can aid in decreasing muscle pain, help to relieve headaches and post-concussion symptoms.

CST allows the innate wisdom of the body to guide the treatment, leading to an increase of inherent self-regulation, self-correction, and self-healing.

This on-the-table full body treatment combines a traditional therapeutic massage to the back, neck, and shoulders with Thai Massage stretches to the lower limbs, arms and neck.

Beginning with Swedish massage and hot stones to the back and shoulders to release musculoskeletal tension, Thai Massage stretches are then applied to the lower body, legs, feet, and arms. The treatment ends with gentle stretches and therapeutic massage to the arms, upper chest and neck.

Thai Massage is a dynamic, full body therapy that will take you through a series of controlled stretches, myofascial release, joint range of motion and acupressure to promote physical and energetic well-being.

My practice focuses on down-regulation of the nervous system and decreasing musculoskeletal tension with the aim of creating ease in body, mind and spirit. My treatments are deeply relaxing with therapeutic intent and a holistic approach to massage therapy.

I have trained in craniosacral therapy and Thai massage, both of which I integrate into my treatments along with general Swedish massage, myofascial release, hydrotherapy, diaphragmatic breathing and hot and cold stone therapy.

I offer Thai massage as an on-the-table treatment that combines a deep tissue oil massage with movement, stretches, and deep breathing. (*Please book “RMT Thai Fusion” if you are interested in this treatment.)

Creating a safe and supportive space is elemental in my practice. Making sure that clients feel supported and seen is a priority during the intake and throughout the treatment. Particular areas of interest are chronic pain, stress, and anxiety. I encourage pain science education and meditation as homecare to aid in alleviating symptoms.
